Fair Car Deal: New GW online platform
Fair Car Deal is a new platform. It wants to be a full-service solution for selling used cars. For private sellers, the time-consuming, uncertain and sometimes lengthy process should be simplified and a serious environment for fair pricing should be offered. The central element here is vehicle auctions, in which the best bidder is determined within two days.
Fair Car Deal is not aimed at maximizing profits. Rather, the business model aims to create indirect profitability for the Austrian vehicle trade, because it is the declared goal to fully integrate brand specialist dealers into the process and to keep the interesting goods from private hands in Austria.
Interesting used cars are in short supply in many segments. The outflow of such cars abroad, where international wholesalers sell them, also plays a role. However, these do not work for free. This has created an additional layer of intermediaries that did not exist in this form ten years ago. Of course, this is at the expense of the customer, who finances a middleman's margin and gets a worse price for his car. This is to the detriment of the motor vehicle retail trade inasmuch as these cars are missing. The Fair Car Deal initiative would like to take a clear stance against this.
