Vehicle trading: Internet sales possible, delivery not permitted
Since industry-specific questions often arise in the vehicle trade, you will find an overview of various subject areas below.
1.) Commission for car salesmen
From our point of view, the failure principle applies here, i.e. specifically that the contractor has to receive the remuneration that he would have received if he had been able to work “full”. The fact that he can't sell cars is not in the AN's sphere. Therefore, an average of the commissions from the last 13 weeks (3 months) is applied. The question therefore arises as to whether it makes sense to let the seller work. It would make more business sense to arrange vacation/work time with him. However, when assessing the individual case, it is necessary to take the specific service contract into account.
2.) Decommissioning of vehicles
It must still be possible to decommission vehicles for companies in order to save expensive premiums. Please contact the local registration office.
3.) Internet sales
Internet sales are generally possible. However, delivery to the vehicle dealer's premises is not permitted. Delivery to the customer will also not be possible, as it cannot regularly be ensured that the minimum distance of 1 meter is maintained at all times. These regulations are enforced very strictly by the responsible police bodies, so severe penalties can certainly be expected.
4.) Tire fitting
There is an exception for vehicle workshops and this also includes tire fittings.
5.) Spare parts wholesale
The shop must be closed. Deliveries to vehicle workshops to supply spare parts are still possible. Social contacts should be reduced as much as possible.
