Additional business with marten defense

Stop&Go marten defense presents its entire product range at the German autumn trade fairs Neimcke Hausmesse, WM Workshop Fair, Coparts Profi Service Days and at the LKQ Stahlgruber exhibition. The focus is on universally applicable high-voltage and ultrasonic devices as well as additional accessory solutions, the installation and sale of which can bring long-term returns to workshops and car dealerships and strengthen customer relationships. While the vehicle trade in Germany recorded a decline in sales of 1.3 percent in 2024, according to the Federal Statistical Office, sales in vehicle service rose by 2.5 percent. With the growing proportion of electric vehicles, classic additional services such as changing oil, engine air filters or spark plugs are increasingly no longer available in Austrian workshops. Stop&Go marten defense therefore offers workshops and car dealerships future-proof solutions that work independently of the drive system, keep service sales up and can be efficiently integrated into everyday workshop life.

Stable additional business

"Since martens do not differentiate according to vehicle type, the risk of marten damage is the same for all cars. With our systems, customers have solutions for every application - whether in a combustion engine, hybrid or electric car. This makes them particularly interesting for workshops," explains Gerald Lichthardt, Key Account Manager at Norbert Schaub GmbH, which sells the Stop&Go brand. "They can be installed quickly, easily and without the use of a lifting platform in vehicles weighing up to 3.5 tons. This means they offer stable additional business, especially in times when other sources of sales are disappearing." In addition to assembly solutions, Stop&Go also offers marten defense systems that can be used directly by the end customer, for example the Stop&Go scent disc. “It is particularly popular as an entry-level product and, due to its six-month shelf life, its sale can be easily integrated into customer discussions and regular customer services such as seasonal tire changes,” explains Gerald Lichthardt. “At the same time, its effectiveness strengthens trust in the workshop and thus increases the chance of recommendation from customers.”
