Growth potential with lubricant
The traditional family business Leikermoser is now starting out in the highly competitive lubricant market with high-performance lubricants from Divinol.

Growth potential with lubricant
The Divinol engine, transmission or hydraulic oils are manufactured by the traditional German company Zeller + Gmelin, which is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year. Since its beginnings in 1866, the Eislingen location (40 km east of Stuttgart) has specialized in specialty lubricants, printing inks and chemicals and today employs more than 900 people worldwide. We received the Bosch Global Supplier Award five times in a row - out of over 35,000 Bosch suppliers worldwide, we are one of the few who are regularly recognized for outstanding achievements in the production and delivery of products and services.
In addition to the BP brand filling stations and the own brand “LMEnergy”, the lubricants area is now intended to ensure further growth at Leikermoser. For this purpose, a real expert was brought on board: Peter Spatzierer, former Castrol managing director and well-connected lubricant professional, acts as a consultant.
INDUSTRY IN CHANGE
“Since there have been massive changes in this segment in the recent past – and one or two surprises will come our way – the time was ripe for this expansion,” said Spatzierer about the Leikermoser offensive. Company boss Franz Leikermoser adds: “Of course we also welcome frustrated lubricant customers from other oil companies.” And it also highlights why you should rely on “a locally run company with common sense and handshake quality, without anonymous shareholders and speculators in the background”.
The new sales team, which will soon have six experts and appropriately trained back office staff, wants to push the commercial vehicle sector in addition to independent workshops. “We at LMEnergy also personally supply small and medium-sized businesses,” emphasizes Spatzierer. What is already fixed: Divinol will once again be presenting its products together with Leikermoser at AutoZum 2017 in Salzburg.
