Stop & Go: marten deterrent, quickly assembled
Stop & Go has further developed its proven stainless steel contact plates with insulation displacement technology. Compared to the previous model and other commercially available systems, the high-voltage cable no longer needs to be threaded through the contact plate. The new clip version can be opened using a practical folding mechanism and the cable can be easily inserted. On the one hand, this offers the advantage that additional contact plates can be subsequently attached anywhere on the high-voltage cable. On the other hand, an extension is possible using an additional cable and any number of additional contact plates, especially for large engine compartments in SUVs and motorhomes.
As with the previous model, the PlusMinus stainless steel contact plates are locked and connected to the 2-wire high-voltage cable with a simple “click”. When the plates are pressed together, six mandrels drill into the cable core, thereby optimizing its contact reliability. This step can be completed in a very short time and is done manually, so that no tools are required. A rounded base offers the advantage that the plates can also be flexibly mounted on hoses. This is done using cable ties that are simply guided through the fastening tunnels at the bottom of the panel. The devices, which come with a 4-year warranty, can be purchased, like all other Stop&Go products, from well-stocked specialist retailers. The clip version is available for the devices 7 PlusMinus and 8 PlusMinus. Both devices are also suitable for use on electric vehicles. Further information: www.stop-go.at
