Siems & Klein: Workshop service secured

Christian Brachmann, CEO of Siems & Klein tells us: "We are adapting to the situation. Sales are on vacation until the end of the week. Home office, time reduction, vacation reduction, no visits - we are taking the same measures as many other companies." If workshops have problems with their equipment despite emergency operation, service from Siems & Klein is guaranteed. "Of course we can help our customers. For example, if an ambulance is on a defective platform - we have to go there and do our part," says Brachmann.

Regarding the tense situation in general, Brachmann says: “I expect it to take months until normality is restored.” Are layoffs or short-time work planned? "I would like to avoid dismissals with all my might. But short-time work is definitely an issue. Anyone who doesn't inform themselves about it preventively - especially now - is acting negligently. We will decide whether short-time work is really necessary if the situation demands it." Overall, Siems & Klein is on extremely solid financial footing, which means Brachmann has no fears about the company's continued existence. Does he currently feel well supported as an entrepreneur? "Yes, at the moment I feel well informed. But what it looks like when you really need something is another matter."
