Repair solution for 48-volt hybrid

The 48-volt Ina Fead Kit is now available for the Renault Scénic and Mégane dCi 110 Hybrid Assist. The main components include the V-ribbed belt, tension and deflection pulleys as well as all necessary accessories. Additional vehicle applications are planned throughout the year. In the 48-volt mild hybrid, the starter and alternator are replaced by a belt starter generator, or RSG for short. In conjunction with a 48-volt battery, the vehicle can “sail” with the combustion engine completely switched off, thereby emitting up to seven percent CO in road traffic2-Save emissions. Schaeffler expects that by 2030, around 30 percent pure electric cars, 30 percent combustion engines and 40 percent hybrids will be on the roads.
