EBV - safe and understandable
As a cloud-based software solution, EBV is state-of-the-art and offers premium users clear advantages.

EBV - safe and understandable
The software business has been moving primarily in one direction for years: cloud-based applications. The EBV, which has been used in vehicle workshops for over 20 years, changed its software architecture accordingly in 2017 and this brought many advantages for users. Thanks to the multi-client capability, automotive companies with several branches can access the same vehicle data base. With the EBV assistant (= DMS uploader), companies can use interfaces to automatically link commercial or technical data with the EBV. This saves time and helps avoid errors because data does not have to be transferred manually. The report, which is created in the EBV, is then automatically saved in the EBV cloud. These cloud servers are located in a certified Austrian data center and not only store the EBV reports in the EBV database (EBVDB), but also all types of attachments in the report (= photos, documents or other documents). The infrastructure is designed for uninterrupted 24/7 operation.
Privileged users such as the state governments also have access to the EBV reports. However, the state governments can only access the reports from their own federal state. The ZBD is the link to the approval database. Only the ZBD can initiate changes in the approval database. For example, if older vehicles can no longer be accessed in the registration database due to a lengthy de-registration, customers will receive support from EBV support in order to have such vehicles entered in the registration database via the ZBD.
EBV Premium users enjoy another special advantage: the analysis tool provides options for evaluating recorded appraisal data in order to optimize your own quality assurance and thus avoid possible complaints in the course of revisions in advance. Users can find out useful details about the analysis tool and the other helpful tools in the EBV PREMIUM package in our EBV practical training courses.
