AutoZum 2025: Successful restart

The result far exceeds the visitor numbers from 2023, when 11,636 guests were counted.  The return to the original January date, a clear commitment from leading after sales companies to AutoZum and the great show by the 160 exhibitors led to satisfied faces on all sides. "The first edition of AutoZum under the leadership of the Salzburg Exhibition Center was a complete success. With this great result, we are pleased to be able to announce the date for the next AutoZum from January 19th to 22nd, 2027," sums up Alexander Kribus, Managing Director of the Salzburg Exhibition Center.

Central meeting point

AutoZum is the central meeting point in Austria to exchange ideas about current topics in the after sales industry, to experience innovations and new solutions live and to renew existing contacts and make new ones. On an area of over 22,000 m², the 160 exhibitors and their teams presented products and solutions from all areas of after sales, from diagnostics to workshop and warehouse equipment, to the latest spare parts and attractive accessories. The focus was particularly on current industry trends such as e-mobility, digitalization, alternative drives and a shortage of skilled workers. These topics were presented both in the exhibition halls and in numerous specialist lectures. The content of the exciting specialist lectures included AI and 3D printing, digitalization, marketing concepts, workshop, environmental and claims management. In addition, the Association of Austrian Tire Specialists discussed current industry topics from logistics to recycling at the VRÖ Tire Day.

Take advantage of new opportunities

The automotive and after sales industry is facing major challenges – and equally great opportunities. The growing number of electric and hybrid vehicles requires new workshop solutions, which were brought into focus at AutoZum. At the same time, digital tools offer approaches to optimize processes and overcome the shortage of skilled workers. The industry offers very attractive new professions as well as digital solutions that help to achieve greater efficiency and with fewer staff. In the Future Mobility Area powered by Evaluus, specialist companies provided insights into the service and repair of electric vehicles.
