Hella Gutmann continually adapts the calibration functions in the mega macs software and the CSC tool to new vehicles. In 2019, the number of manufacturer-specific calibration panels for front cameras grew to 20. This covers 25 common brands. Additional calibration targets for environmental detection systems take the growing system diversity into account. A novelty: for the first time, an image panel that spans the entire width of the vehicle also enables the calibration of new laser scanners (LiDAR) on Audi models. The innovative optical sensors impress with significantly larger measuring ranges and greater accuracy than radar sensors and could soon be used in many vehicles. For workshops that work with the transportable CSC tool Mobile, Hella Gutmann offers a multi-part, mobile leveling plate system as an addition.
