Upgrade for Lucky Car Klagenfurt

Since Lucky Car opened its doors in Klagenfurt around three years ago, franchisee Nermin Nukic's branch has served around 700 customers every year. “Our previous location became too small and was no longer sufficient to meet all customer requests,” explains Nukic. Therefore, the 29-year-old decided to change location in the summer of 2021 and took over the established company “Lacktechnikzentrum Süd Oberekar” on the Südring. After a renovation phase, the new Lucky Car Klagenfurt location has now been officially opened. A complete service for vehicles of all brands is offered on over 1,000 square meters – three times as large as before. In addition to the well-known range of paint and body service, windshield repair and replacement as well as rim and tire service, classic vehicle mechanics, the inspection of the §57a sticker (“Pickerl”) and the repair of electric vehicles are now also offered.

Nermin Nukic invested, among other things, in a new, partially automated paint mixing system called “Moonwalk”, which weighs and mixes with computer support to an accuracy of 0.05 grams. There are also painting and drying boxes as well as several lifting platforms. “Our goal is to continue to grow, to convince even more customers of our offering and to establish ourselves as the competence center for vehicle repairs in the Carinthian state capital,” says Nukic. Mitar Kos, Managing Director of Lucky Car, adds: “With the expansion, the Klagenfurt location is now one of the best-equipped car repair shops in Austria and is therefore even more in line with our philosophy of offering customers everything from a single source when it comes to car repairs.” So far, the Klagenfurt Lucky Car team has grown from three employees to eight. Nukic is also currently looking for two apprentices. “Our recipe for combating the shortage of skilled workers is: We train our young talent ourselves and also rely on ongoing training and further education,” emphasizes Mitar Kos.
