After a break due to the pandemic, the Association of Tire Specialists in Austria (VRÖ) has subsequently awarded its “Oscars of the tire industry” for 2019 and 2020 to the top tire manufacturers. First place in the VRÖ Awards in the passenger car tire segment went to Bridgestone. Martin Krauss, Country Manager Bridgestone Austria, accepted the award in Vienna on behalf of the entire team.
Every two years, the members of the VRÖ, which are made up of tire dealers, car dealerships and workshops, honor the tire manufacturers in the market. When choosing the award winners, the focus is on the manufacturers' support for their retail partners, which includes, among other things, the individual categories of product quality, pricing policy and ability to deliver. In the passenger car sector, Bridgestone received the best rating ahead of Falken (2nd place) and Michelin (3rd place) and was awarded first place in the VRÖ Awards in this segment. As part of the workshop forum on June 1, 2022, Martin Krauss accepted the award at the award ceremony in Vienna's Allianz Stadium.
