The present and the coming years do not bode well: existing macroeconomic crises due to problematic supply chains, the war in Ukraine or inflation and a less than rosy future due to the reduced importance of the automobile. At the same time, the fight for customers in the tire business and thus the concentration in retail continues to increase due to takeovers by the big players.
As the company emphasizes in a press release, continuous investments in the online shop and efficiency in energy management have provided a healthy basis for the tire wholesaler's positive development in recent years. From Reifen Göggel's perspective, past growth provides an excellent basis for expanding storage capacity by 500,000 to 2 million tires. Planning for the construction of 2 warehouses with 4 and 7 levels and an area of over 50,000 m² has begun and parts are already under construction.
