Bridgestone Turanza T005 impresses in tire tests

In the “Auto Zeitung” summer tire test, the Turanza T005 from Bridgestone took first place with 137 out of 150 possible points. Ten different types of tires in size 215/55 R17 were tested on a Ford Puma 1.0 EcoBoost MHEV - on both wet and dry roads, where behavior in extreme situations is particularly important. After the tread compound of the Bridgestone Turanza T005 was optimized at the beginning of last year, the Japanese product impressed in the test with “high driving safety” as well as “easy controllability in emergency situations”.

With “best values ​​in all safety-relevant disciplines – regardless of whether it is raining or the road is dry”, the premium summer tire meets the high expectations of the “Auto Zeitung” editorial team. The Bridgestone Turanza T005 delivers strong performance thanks to the “particularly high grip level in wet conditions” and the “great balance between the front and rear axle”. In addition, the tire brings strong dry performance to the road, offers short braking distances and reliable handling during spontaneous driving maneuvers.

Also at this year's ADAC and ÖAMTC summer tire test 2022  The Bridgestone Turanza T005 was able to position itself in the top field - for both 15 and 16 inch tires. Here, safety and strength on wet roads are once again praised.
