In this year's ARBÖ summer tire test, all-wheel drive tires measuring 215/60 R17 were tested. In Mireval, France, ARBÖ sent a total of eleven tires to the test track. Safety aspects on dry and wet roads, as well as passing noise and rolling resistance were tested. The ARBÖ testers gave it a “highly recommended” rating twice, with the Continental Premium Contact 5 working even better on wet roads than the Goodyear EfficientGrip SUV. This earned the title “ARBÖ test winner” (total number of points of 140). Pleasing: The Goodyear was also victorious and was on par with the Conti in many tests.
