It starts (again) in Linz
It had been more than two years since the Acoat Selected partner companies met in person for a specialist conference. The reunion at the Arcotel Nike in Linz on March 23, 2022 was all the better.
A varied program awaited the participants. Daniel Kapeller, VR Premium Sales Manager AT, Andreas Bäurle (Business Consultant PCE DACH) and Matthias Schramm (Acoat Selected Manager AT) informed about news from Akzo Nobel, with consulting services and sustainability (CO2-Reduction) were the focus.
An important contribution for Acoat Selected partner companies was the presentation of the Austrian advisory board around Stefan Steinmetz (KFZ Steinmetz) and Oswald and Andreas Reisinger (Reisinger KFZ GmbH). The advisory board acts as a mouthpiece for the companies and answers questions such as: What exactly are the companies currently dealing with?
A highlight of the event was this year's keynote speaker by ultra cyclist Christoph Strasser with the title “The path is further than the destination”. The 39-year-old ultra cyclist, who is, among other things, a multiple winner of the Race Across America and a numerous record holder, provided an exclusive insight behind the facade. He has repeatedly succeeded in bridging the gap between professional sports and companies.
The next day there was a tour of the voestalpine Stahlwelt including a factory tour and a city tour of Linz.
