KLS Fachtage: Successful premiere

Bodywork, painting and damage management were the topics of the KLS specialist days, which took place for the first time at the Wieselburg trade fair at the beginning of October. The premiere of this new event format got off to a successful start, so the decision was made that the KLS specialist days will continue to take place in Wieselburg in the future.

A total of more than 700 trade visitors visited the exhibition halls on the two days of the event, where around 70 companies from the body and paint industry presented themselves. The large catchment area of visitors from all Austrian federal states makes it clear that the combination of trade fair, accompanying congress and practical demonstrations is very well received in the industry. The interest in the lectures exceeded all expectations. In some cases more than 200 visitors followed the five lecture blocks and then discussed intensively with the speakers. Part of the exhibition also included practical demonstrations on current vehicle repair topics. In 8 demonstration zones, hosted by well-known providers in the industry, you could find out up close about the latest trends: calibration of vehicle systems, high-voltage workstations, chassis alignment, windshield repair, hail damage repair, paint preparation, air conditioning service, headlight repair and much more were on the program here.

"As organizers, we are very satisfied with the premiere of the KLS Fachtage. Of course, there are always adjustments and improvements to be made at a first event, but the basic concept has proven itself very well and the necessary changes will be worked on with vigor from now on," says trade fair director Werner Roher. The organizer plans that the KLS specialist days will take place again in October 2023 in Wieselburg. However, a final decision will only be made after evaluating a survey of visitors and exhibitors, which is carried out in collaboration with the event partner, the Federal Guild of Automotive Technology, and the advisory board. For Federal Guild Master Deputy Manfred Kubik said the event was a success in any case: "Many years ago, the Painter's Days were the most important industry meeting for bodywork mechanics in Austria. Even at the premiere, the KLS-Fachtage succeeded perfectly in creating a new event format that will develop into a perfect meeting point for the entire industry. We will definitely continue to support the KLS-Fachtage as a partner in the future."
