Yokohama is repositioning itself

In January, the Yokohama Reifen GmbH based in Düsseldorf expanded its country responsibility from Germany to five additional countries: Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The German and European Yokohama organizations will soon merge to form Yokohama Europe GmbH, which will continue to have its headquarters in Düsseldorf. At the same time, the new GmbH will have additional direct country responsibility and will also be responsible for the countries of Belgium and Luxembourg in the future.

The aim of these processes is to generate synergies between the merging companies and thus make Yokohama more efficient, reduce internal complexity and offer all customers in the different countries the same quality of service. The tried-and-tested Yokohama internal and external sales team will continue to be responsible for the existing markets, so that all familiar contacts in technology, marketing, internal sales, accounting and field sales can be reached as usual.
