Increase in sales at Liqui Moly

In ours Exclusive interview with Ernst Prost he explains how Liqui Moly will emerge from the crisis stronger. According to the latest reports, the path taken seems to be correct: Liqui Moly was able to increase its sales to 65 million euros in March, which corresponds to an increase of 19 percent compared to March 2020 - shortly before the crisis. 

“We are now reaping what we sowed last year,” says managing director Ernst Prost. At 168 million euros, sales for the first three months are at the same level as last year. Because the first quarter of 2020 was particularly strong, before the pandemic also affected sales. At 2.8 million euros, the profit is also as high as in the same quarter of the previous year.

“With our solid start in the first quarter, we have tailwind and the opportunity to make 2021 Liqui Moly’s most successful year, despite all the difficulties that the pandemic may still present us,” Ernst Prost is convinced. "Success doesn't just mean bringing in more sales, but also creating more secure jobs. We hired more than 100 people during the pandemic, plus a job guarantee."
