The first Tire Cologne in 2018 proved that Cologne is the right location for the new world's leading trade fair for the wheels/tires/workshop industry," said Stephan Helm, Chairman of the Federal Association of Tire Trade and Vulcanization Crafts (BRV). The second Tire Cologne will take place at Koelnmesse from June 9th to 12th, 2020. Gerald Böse, Chairman of the Management Board of Koelnmesse, explained the concept of The Tire Cologne 2020.
THE THREE ESSENTIAL PARAMETERS:
▶ the independent and comprehensive industry representation at all levels and at a glance - and at the right time
▶ the internationalization of all relevant industry segments
▶ Generating new visitor target groups. In addition to the topics of online trading and workshop service, new target groups such as fleet managers and transport companies are addressed and brought to Cologne. In addition, the topic of recycling is clearly exposed: an added value for industry and trade. The retraiding, workshop, services and digitalization segments will also be expanded. Currently, 80 percent of the exhibition space is already rented. Compared to the final result in 2018, even 95 percent compared to the original planning for 2018. Over 350 companies have confirmed their participation in Tire Cologne 2020.
THE TOP 20
Special highlight: Tire Cologne is the only B2B platform in the world to present the top 20 from the international tire world. With the special “Future Mobility” area, the leading trade fair will take a look into the future under the motto “What does changing mobility mean for the tire product?” In Hall 8, training courses on the optimal installation of car tires will take place on demo vehicles. Everything you need to know first-hand, directly from the professionals. “Digitalization” is considered the most essential topic. What digitalization means for the protagonists of the tire industry and how it can be used for business will be shown in various sessions on the Tire Cologne stage.
