SOS Children's Villages with Goodyear support
Tire manufacturer Goodyear has been supporting the SOS Children's Village for years. This year there was a road safety campaign for children - a nice thing.
SOS Children's Villages with Goodyear support
At the start of the holiday, Goodyear Austria employees organized a campaign in the SOS Children's Village to promote children's road safety. The team of volunteers organized an action-packed scavenger hunt for the girls and boys in the SOS Children's Village Hinterbrühl. The children had to solve various tasks on how to behave correctly in traffic and on their own bikes. As an additional fun factor, at the end there was a treasure chest with exciting contents for all participating children.
Goodyear has been a tire partner of SOS Children's Villages since 2010 and has been equipping all company vehicles in Austria ever since. The cooperation also includes a house sponsorship in the SOS Children's Village East Tyrol. Tassilo Rodlauer, Managing Director of Goodyear Austria, presented a symbolic donation check and remarked: “We are very pleased to be able to make a meaningful contribution to the well-being and safety of children with our tires and campaigns.”
Alexander Mairginter from SOS Children's Villages thanked you for the support: "The financial relief enables us to implement additional projects in the interests of children and young people. Actions like these also promote awareness of road safety among both the children and our employees."
