Smatrics continues to expand its network

The Smatrics EnBW public charging network continues to grow: By the end of 2022, a further 150 HPC charging points will be added to the current almost 250 DC and HPC (High Power Charger) charging points. These ultra-fast charging stations make it possible to charge the energy for a range of 100 kilometers in less than five minutes. Each charging point has a maximum output of up to 300 kW. New in the Smatrics EnBW expansion plan: charging hubs with more than ten covered charging stations along the main traffic routes.

“The success of e-mobility depends on a well-developed charging network,” says the managing director of Smatrics and Smatrics EnBW Hauke Hinrichs. “Together with our partner Energie Baden-Württemberg (EnBW), we already have the largest public fast charging network in Austria and we are far from reaching the end of our expansion plans - by 2030, 100-150 new HPC charging points with outputs of up to 300 kW and more per charging point will be added every year.” In the last few months, HPC charging stations with a regional focus have been set up in Eastern Austria, which will go into operation in the next few weeks, including in Neusiedl, Müllendorf, Wiener Neudorf, Wiener Neustadt and Klagenfurt.
