Juicy price increase at Falken

Falken tires have developed a respectable reputation in recent years as rubbers with a good price-performance ratio. But the pandemic and the associated upheavals in the market – rising raw material prices, delivery bottlenecks, increased transport costs – are causing turbulence. Due to this, the prices for Falken and Sumitomo tires will be increased across Europe from January 2022:

Falcons:
Summer – Car, LTR/Van and 4×4/SUV+8 percent
All Season – Car, LTR/Van and 4×4/SUV+ 9.0 percent
Winter – Car, LTR/Van and 4×4/SUV+10.0 percent

Sumitomo:
Summer – Car, LTR/VAN+ 10.50 percent
Winter – cars, 4×4/SUV+ 10.50 percent

“We will continue to offer our tires with premium properties at prices that are more than in line with the market,” says Markus Bögner, COO and President at Falken Tire Europe GmbH, commenting on the price increases. "In the second half of the year, we absorbed the increased costs ourselves and refrained from raising prices. However, we will adjust prices in anticipation of further price increases."
