AVL Ditest: Quick DPF diagnosis
In diesel vehicles that are driven a lot in the city and on short journeys, the diesel particulate filter often becomes clogged. The special AVL Ditest XDS 1000 Diagnosis diagnostic device can be used to quickly determine whether the DPF is actually just clogged or has a more serious defect. Various measured values such as those from the differential pressure sensor, which provide information about the condition of the diesel particle filter, can be read using the handy device. If necessary, depending on the vehicle model, a DPF regeneration can be initiated or a stationary regeneration can be carried out. If the DPF needs to be replaced, the stored amount of soot can be reset using the AVL Ditest XDS 1000 and any existing error entries can be deleted.
Bosch: The evolution of diagnosis
In 1988, Bosch started selling the KTS 300 diagnostic device, also called the “Bosch hammer” because of its shape. While the device was only able to read data from three vehicle manufacturers back then, the Bosch Esitronic 2.0 diagnostic software now covers a total of 180 vehicle brands and more than 90,000 models worldwide. The current KTS program from Bosch ranges from the OBD module KTS 515, for example in the Bosch emissions analysis exhaust gas tester, to the handy testers KTS 200 and 340 as well as the Bluetooth radio modules KTS 540 and 570 to the most powerful diagnostic testers KTS 840, KTS 870 and 890. Bosch also offers the most modern measurement technology with multimeters and Two-channel oscilloscope in the KTS 570 and 870 as well as a four-channel oscilloscope in the KTS 890.
Hella Gutmann: Diagnosis on the PC
Hella Gutmann Solutions expanded its mega macs PC service software solution into a fully-fledged diagnostic variant with unrestricted data access. After quickly installing and activating the mega macs software, the notebook, tablet PC or PC can be used as a diagnostic device in conjunction with the VCI. In terms of scope and depth, the PC diagnostics are comparable to those of the mega macs 42 SE. Functions include vehicle identification via VIN, reading and deleting error codes, graphical display of parameters, actuator tests, basic settings, coding, service resets and automatic storage of vehicle data. In detail, Sun's current 14.2 software package offers manufacturer-specific coverage for 30 EU vehicle manufacturers as well as the US versions of the brands Porsche, Chrysler, Dodge, RAM, Jeep, Audi, BMW, Mini & VW. Furthermore, 27 manufacturers were updated in the new update, which means that 97% market coverage has now been achieved. In total, over one million records are now available and more than 500,000 error codes are covered.

Workshop outfitter Siems & Klein offers the latest device from Texa with the compact Axone 4 Mini. The robust tool weighs 560 g and can withstand falls from a height of up to 1.5 meters. Its backlit 7-inch touch display offers a resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, and the powerful Cortex A8 processor in combination with the integrated 4GB SSD hard drive ensures excellent performance. The 16 GB SD card allows you to run multiple operating systems at the same time. The comprehensive Texa IDC4 diagnostic software enables work on vehicles from all manufacturers. In addition, TGS3 is the most advanced automatic scanning system for vehicle electronics on the market. The circuit diagrams created by Texa engineers make troubleshooting much easier.
Würth: Diagnosis with comfort
The combination of depth of diagnosis, versatility of use and user-friendliness was the requirement when developing the new multi-brand diagnosis system iQ 330 from Wow! Würth Online World GmbH. The device now offers a larger screen, a newly developed docking station and a significantly extended battery life of up to six hours. The robust iQ 330 is designed for use in both cars and vans, has a clear 9.7 inch touchscreen for convenient mobile use, but can also be operated stationary with a keyboard and mouse. In conjunction with the docking station, the iQ 330 can be easily connected to a printer, external keyboard and screen. Combined with the new diagnostic trolley from Wow! The iQ 330 enables comfortable work on complex diagnostic cases.
