KTM and MOTOREX have been working hand in hand in research, development, initial filling and motorsport for 15 years. Motorex once again receives the “KTM Supplier Quality Excellence Award 2017”.

This means that the lubricant specialist continues to be classified as an “A+ supplier” and meets the motorcycle manufacturer’s highest standards. The close relationship between Motorex and KTM goes back to 2003. In addition to the initial filling of all series bikes from Mattighofen, this collaboration also includes successful involvement in motorsport. The two brands are racing together from success to success in off-road racing: both companies have achieved an unprecedented 16 consecutive victories at the Dakar Rally since 2003. There were also numerous titles in various motocross series.
KTM rider Tony Cairoli secured the trophy in the MXGP World Championship last year. In the MX2 World Championship in 2016 and 2017, two KTM riders, Jeffrey Herlings and Pauls Jonass, also won the championship title. Motorex also supports the KTM factory team in MotoGP as a technical partner. Customers also benefit from the successful motorsport commitment. The research and development departments of both companies use the know-how gained under these extreme conditions and incorporate it directly into the series products.

Motorex marketing manager Wolfgang Schneider puts it in a nutshell: "The long-standing partnership with KTM also strengthens the Motorex brand in segments outside of the 2-wheeler sector. Many car dealerships and workshops know us and trust in the quality of the products and the performance of our employees. This fact motivated us in Austria four years ago to depict racing drivers in our advertising subjects and thus build a bridge to other segments such as passenger cars, construction and agricultural technology.
