Innovations and service
Continental's premium brand ATE traditionally stands for a broad product portfolio in terms of original part quality relating to brakes.

Innovations and service
This fits perfectly with Stahlgruber’s philosophy. Stahlgruber listed ATE as No. 1 in the brake product group at the beginning of the 1990s. This means that Stahlgruber's ATE brake centers and workshop customers can access the complete ATE brake program for all European vehicles and repair them more easily," explains Stahlgruber Austria Managing Director Hermann Kowarz. Resellers have the opportunity to obtain a system-maintained ATE warehouse with organizational and marketing support from Stahlgruber.
In 2016, Continental was the first provider in the independent spare parts market with its brake disc for the front axle of the C-Class. After the successful launch, the technology company has continuously expanded the portfolio for the C-Class, including a solution for the rear axle. Now further applications have been added. This means that independent workshops have access to an economical comparison product from the premium brand for even more vehicles for the patented two-part OE brake disc concept.

The extensive range in comparable OE quality under the ATE brand now also includes brake discs for the A238, C238, S213 and W213 E-Class series. Further innovation for all brake discs offered by Continental for Mercedes-Benz models: The fastening screws included in the scope of delivery are now made of plastic instead of metal in order to protect the discs during assembly.
In addition, Continental is once again setting standards in the aftermarket with the development of a two-part brake disc for high-performance Mercedes vehicles. For the first time, retailers and workshops now have an aftermarket product available for changing brake discs on numerous models in the Mercedes-AMG series. Continental has developed a two-part brake disc concept consisting of a pot and a friction ring that is specifically designed for high-performance vehicles in which the brake disc must absorb a large amount of kinetic energy.
Hydraulic control unit for ABS repairs Another win for independent workshops: Continental has included the hydraulic control unit (HCU - Hydraulic Control Unit), a main component of the ATE MK60 ABS control unit, in its aftermarket program. For the first time, brand-independent workshops have access to an original part for repairing anti-lock braking systems through Stahlgruber. This means that vehicle companies can now easily and quickly replace the HCU in the system, instead of either having to replace the entire ABS control unit at great cost or having to open the pressure sensor that is permanently connected to the ABS control unit and have it overhauled at great expense.
Replacing the defective component with a corresponding new part means the greatest possible safety for the driver. In addition, the repair kit from ATE also gives the workshop the greatest possible security when replacing: In addition to the HCU pre-filled with brake fluid, the caps and screws required for assembly as well as detailed assembly instructions are already included in the scope of delivery. Workshops can view an additional assembly video below www.ate.de/ Call up mk60. Continental's offering includes products for models from BMW, Ford, Mazda, the Volkswagen Group and Volvo.
