All current vehicles, including electric and hybrid vehicles, require a low-voltage power source to ensure the functionality of important systems. Today, the low-voltage network increasingly supplies software-based functions such as steer-by-wire, break-by-wire, autonomous functions and the optimized driving experience. This means that car batteries are being stressed like never before. The Clarios brand Varta and Hella Gutmann Solutions now want to work together to develop meaningful and reliable diagnostic solutions for low-voltage batteries. The solution will later be integrated into Hella Gutmann's diagnostic devices. Varta, Clarios' leading brand in EMEA, brings 130 years of experience in batteries and low voltage networks.
