A total of 94 tire dealers accepted GOODYEAR's invitation to one of the most varied race tracks in the world, the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg. The brand new sporty tire range was tested.

The invited tire dealers acted as exclusive tire testers - with a lot of commitment and adrenaline. The stars: the new Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 and the Eagle F1 SuperSport. “The needs of the end consumer are at the center of our development,” assured Fabian Schreiber, Head of Marketing at Goodyear Germany, at the start of the event. The Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 (the successor to the Asymmetric 3) relies on a sophisticated rubber compound with optimized wet performance without sacrificing mileage and dry handling properties. The result: 4 percent shorter wet braking distance. With the Eagle F1 SuperSport, Goodyear is taking into account the OE's demand for sporty high-end tires," emphasizes Wolfgang Stummer, Managing Director of Goodyear Dunlop Austria. After the lectures, the guests had enough time throughout the day to put the new tires through their paces on the racetrack.
