In the 2022 customer loyalty ranking, tire manufacturer Dunlop prevailed with an increase of 12.72 percentage points from 2020 to 2021 and landed in first place.

Dunlop has the most loyal customers

Compared to 2020, Dunlop customers were most likely to continue to consider their brand in 2021. The Australian shoe company UGG comes in second place in terms of increased customer loyalty with an increase of 12.56 percentage points, while Dunkin' Donuts comes in third place with an increase of 11.42 percentage points. The basis for the ranking is population-representative data from the brand monitor YouGov BrandIndex.

Representative survey

The results of the 2022 customer loyalty ranking are based on more than 900,000 online interviews that YouGov conducted daily for the YouGov BrandIndex representative of the German population aged 18 and over in the period from December 1st, 2020 to November 30th, 2021 compared to the same period last year. To determine customer loyalty to a brand, survey participants were asked the following question: “Next time you buy a product in this category, which of the following brands would you consider?” The reported result per brand corresponds to the percentage of the selected brands among current customers.
