The best Styrian automotive apprentices

At WIFI Graz, the well-prepared automotive technology apprentices showed what they had learned and practiced. Both practical and theoretical skills were tested in station operations with 12 stations. There was something to check, measure or screw on all vehicle components relevant to workshop operations, such as the petrol engine, air conditioning, diesel engine, starter, vehicle electronics, wheel suspension, brakes and transmission. In addition, the young people's manual skills, for example in sheet metal processing, as well as their theoretical knowledge were also put to the test. In the afternoon the three best placed were determined. Simon Pierer from the Styrian Automobile and Motorsport Club took first place, Dominik Ober from Autohaus Uitz GmbH took second place, and Samuel Kirschner from Magna Steyr Fahrzeugtechnik AG & Co KG took third place. Simon Pierer and Dominik Ober will represent Styria at the state championships from September 18th to 20th in Villach.
