Bosch will be presenting this comprehensive support at the Salzburger AutoZum next week in Hall 10 at Stand 730. This includes, among other things, the comprehensive further development of the ESI[tronic] Evolution diagnostic software, which for the first time combines the areas of diagnosis, Bosch instructions for maintenance and repairs, and manufacturer documents on one software platform. Another milestone is full support for the diagnosis and maintenance of Tesla vehicles from 2025. With Secure Diagnostic Access (SDA), Bosch has also implemented simple, direct and standardized access to encrypted vehicle data in the diagnostic software. For technically complex tasks, experienced Bosch experts also offer quick and effective support by remotely accessing the vehicle in the workshop. The workshop employee contacts an expert online who then supports him live. In addition to booking an appointment via the RDS portal, the mechanic can now also book help “on demand”, i.e. without waiting times.

The new used car certificate from Bosch offers the workshop a simple, quick and neutral assessment of the condition of the used car. ESI[tronic] Evolution and the KTS 560 or 590 diagnostic module enable the data stored in the control units to be read out and analyzed. An innovative software system consolidates the data and brings it together to create an independent Bosch certificate. Error codes are documented, past accidents and overdue maintenance are identified, and speedometer manipulations are uncovered. For electric vehicles, the current battery capacity is also documented. The manufacturer-independent certificate from Bosch ensures transparency and creates trust in the used car trade.
