The Austrian battery specialist is also opening up to new technologies and, among other things, offers energy storage solutions for critical infrastructures. Against this background, Banner has currently invested 10 million euros in its new location in Thalheim near Wels.

Many well-known companies are already located in Thalheim.
We offer an optimal environment for further growth here, I wish the company much success in its expansion plans," said Thalheim Mayor Andreas Stockinger. In addition to the already well-developed markets of Austria and Switzerland, the main focus of Energy Solutions will be on the markets in Germany and France. "Our analyzes have shown that there are excellent growth opportunities in the traction, semi-traction and standby product areas. Since the demand for energy storage solutions in the market is very high, production in Thalheim is already running at full speed. "Our goal “The aim is to double sales at our new location in the future,” explains Berger.
From now on, Banner will establish itself internationally as a well-known provider of energy storage solutions. “In order to do justice to this positioning, we will position ourselves even more broadly in the future and open ourselves up to new technologies,” says Berger, underlining the strategy in the new Energy Solutions division. “Among other things, we are open to the use of lithium technologies in this field of activity, as long as it promises the corresponding customer benefits,” says Berger.
The focus here is on energy storage solutions that are put together individually based on needs for each customer. Berger sees potential in particular in the individual support of partners: “We will therefore listen more closely than ever to what our partners need in the current economic situation in terms of intralogistics solutions and process management in order to be able to do so accordingly
