GS Yuasa covers more than 99% of the European vehicle fleet with its lead acid and lithium-ion based products. The focus of this year's trade fair appearance was the Yuasa YBX and GS battery series for the automotive industry. There were also new power storage systems for commercial vehicles, motorcycles and recreational vehicles on display. GS Yuasa operates six European sales and distribution centers with regional teams. With 31 factories worldwide, including one in the UK, the company produces original equipment and aftermarket products and services. Country Manager Raphael Eckert emphasized the importance of Automechanika as a meeting place and platform for discussions. “This is where I can best maintain personal contacts with both our suppliers and our customers.” Eckert was quite satisfied with the number of visitors to the Yuasa stand.

The innovative battery testers GYT250 and GYT050 were also on display at the exhibition stand, as well as the Yu-Fit battery configurator and the intelligent charging and maintenance devices YCX6 and YCX12. With the GS Yuasa Academy, the battery manufacturer supports all workshop employees and dealers with the most modern tools and training.
