Autohaus Sintschnig relies on Lukoil

In 2014, the new Ford Mustang celebrated both its Austrian and European premieres at the Sintschnig car dealership in Klagenfurt. But the coveted sports car is not only an excellent image product for Ford; last year Autowelt Sintschnig was able to sell an impressive 85 units. Today, the Sintschnig car dealership has a total of 58 employees, 15 of them at the Villach location. On average, 650 new cars and around 325 used cars are sold every year. Benjamin Sintschnig has been steering the company's fortunes for four years, while his father Josef holds the position of authorized representative.

The history of the traditional Sintschnig family business goes back to 1934, when Josef Sintschnig senior founded a grocery store at Lidmanskygasse 24 in Klagenfurt. A few milestones: In 1947 the business was expanded to include a forwarding company and a delivery service for the whole of Carinthia. An in-house workshop for trucks and cars was also built. In 1953, Josef Sintschnig senior started trading automobiles. Initially with the English brand “Standard-Triumph”, then Morris and MG and then Jaguar. In 1964 Sintschnig became Ford's main dealer. In 1977 Josef Sintschnig Jr. took over. his father's company. This was followed by permanent optimization and expansion, numerous awards and many activities. This summer, Josef Sintschnig co-organized the Ladies Cup of the Carinthian Yacht Club Klagenfurt (KYCK) for the fourth time. Benjamin Sintschnig is responsible for the traditional sports car meeting every year. At least a hundred speedsters take part every year, with participants coming from Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

COOPERATION WITH LUKOIL

Sintschnig's lubricant partner Lukoil will also be taking part in both the Ladies Cup and the sports car meeting. When it comes to lubricants, the Sintschnig car world relies entirely on Lukoil. Bernhard Blasl, Area Sales Manager Automotive at Lukoil, is at the dealership every four weeks on average, but can also be reached around the clock if things get urgent. The Lukoil company fulfills everything that is important to Autowelt Sintschnig: ability to deliver and punctuality. The lubricants business is always a question of trust. There is also a personal connection between the men, an extremely important point in any business relationship. In fact, Autowelt Sintschnig has always stood for pioneering achievements. The Austrian and European premiere of the new Ford Mustang was just an obvious highlight. The in-house tire assembly line was the first such facility in Carinthia. In 2011, Josef and Benjamin Sintschnig were the most successful Ford duo in Austria. Last year, after eight months of renovation, Carinthia's first FordStore was opened in the Autowelt Sintschnig. CEO Benjamin Sintschnig emphasizes the “one-brand policy” as a quality feature. "If you are completely convinced of a brand, then you concentrate one hundred percent on it. We have been a Ford dealer and Ford service workshop with heart and soul for over 50 years."
