Alzura Tire 24: Summer tire business is picking up

The B2B platform Alzura Tyre24 is very satisfied with the summer season in Austria so far. In the period from March to mid-June, the platform was able to increase summer tire sales and is seeing a strengthening trend.

The B2B platform Alzura Tyre24 is very satisfied with the summer season in Austria so far. In the period from March to mid-June, the platform was able to increase summer tire sales and is seeing a strengthening trend. 

Alzura Tire 24: Summer tire business is picking up

The summer tire business increased by a whopping 9.7 percent compared to the previous year. The most popular car tire size so far this summer is 205/55 R16, followed by 225/45 R17 and 195/65 R15. An analysis of the passenger car tires sold also showed that the demand for all-season tires has increased slightly again compared to the last season so far. The share of all-season tires in total sales in Austria is currently around 4 percent. In Germany, the proportion of all-season tires has been more than 20 percent so far this season.

The most purchased tire brand in Austria this season on the platform is Hankook. Continental, Nexen, Michelin and Pirelli follow in the other places.
