AdBlue service with Obereder

In order to meet the strict emission limits (keyword: Euro 6 standard), manufacturers rely on proven systems that have been used successfully in commercial vehicles for years. In particular, the SCR catalytic converter (selective catalytic reduction) with the fuel AdBlue is becoming increasingly popular in diesel vehicles.
“We not only deliver cheaply, we also provide sustainable support.”OBEREDER-GF ANDREAS OBEREDER
AdBlue is a fuel that is used in diesel vehicles to reduce nitrogen oxides. The Euro 6 standard provides for these emissions to be restricted to a very low level, which can be achieved in diesel vehicles via the SCR catalytic converter and AdBlue. AdBlue is an aqueous urea solution (32.5%) that is converted into ammonia through a chemical reaction caused by the heat of the engine exhaust gases (hydrolysis). The ammonia is passed on to the SCR catalytic converter, where the harmful NOx (nitrogen oxides) are split into harmless nitrogen and water. This results in a reduction of around 90 percent of dangerous nitrogen oxides.
AdBlue is a proven form of NOx reduction and offers the main advantage that the engine and exhaust aftertreatment can work separately from each other. This means engine engineers can concentrate on developing efficient and effective engines without having to resort to various other solutions that would limit the engine's performance and increase consumption. The often praised consumption savings with AdBlue systems simply come from the elimination of inefficient exhaust aftertreatment systems in the engine itself. Compared to previous models without exhaust aftertreatment systems, no major savings will be noticeable. What needs to be considered when buying AdBlue? It is important that only certified AdBlue is used - the associated standards are DIN 22241 and ISO 70070. There is no difference between cars, trucks or other vehicles.
CEO Andreas Obereder explains why you should rely on the Obereder company when it comes to AdBlue: "We don't just deliver cheaply. We also provide sustainable support." Obereder takes care of the rapid replacement of defective nozzles, hoses, hose reels and pumps. In addition, the Obereder consultant provides his customers with all the latest news and is always available to answer questions. In addition, there is the "Obereder Purity Law": "We deliver with our own fleet. These are tank trucks that are intended exclusively for AdBlue transport," says Andreas Obereder.
DATA & FACTS
AdBlue is a brand name for an aqueous urea solution consisting of 32.5 percent urea and 67.5 percent demineralized water. This solution reduces nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions from diesel engines by up to 90 percent. The water-clear solution is injected into the exhaust gas stream in front of the SCR catalytic converter and leads to a selective catalytic reduction (SCR). Nitrogen oxides and ammonia react to form water and nitrogen.
