Renault and the ELF lubricants brand are celebrating their 50th anniversary. For the festival there is a new product line with savings potential for end customers.
50 years of ELF and Renault
The Elf brand has been sharing its expertise and technical know-how in the field of lubricants with the French car manufacturer Renault for half a century. The values underlying the long-standing partnership have recently inspired the new Elf Evolution RN Tech line, suitable for all car models built by Renault in 2018. The focus of the close cooperation between the two companies has always been customer satisfaction for 50 years.
Driven by a determination to stay ahead of market trends and showcase the latest technological advances, the partnership aims to improve engine performance and everyday driving pleasure in equal measure. Thanks to Elf's commitment to motorsport, the products can be tested directly on the racetrack, allowing partners to rely on even more effective products that are used by millions of drivers every day.
Both for use on the race track and for everyday use on the roads, Elf lubricants are constantly being developed and are intended to offer Renault engines optimal protection against wear and corrosion, thereby optimizing their service life and fuel efficiency.
NEW LUBRICANTS
The new range of lubricants, designed for performance and reliability, is marketed by both Renault and Elf and conforms to the new car manufacturer standards RN17, RN17 FE and RN RSA. Elf used its many years of experience to develop an optimized line consisting of three co-branded oils that cover all Renault car models from 2018 onwards. The Elf Evolution RN-Tech Elite FE 0W-20 oils for the new Scenic IV MPV and Elf Evolution RN-Tech Sport 0W-40 for the Alpine A110 are just two examples of the expansion of the product range, which meet the latest technical and ecological requirements of the European Association of Automobile Manufacturers (ACEA). The new series is intended to reduce fuel consumption by up to three percent by reducing engine friction.
