WashTec goes digital
WashTec presented itself with a fresh, future-oriented brand appearance at this year's “Gas station and medium-sized businesses” trade fair in Essen.

WashTec goes digital
The vehicle wash specialist from Augsburg, Germany, presented its first gantry car wash, SmartCare Connect, in Essen, which aims to use digitalization to make the car wash business more efficient and lucrative. “We are currently working on groundbreaking projects – including the launch of SmartCare Connect as the key to digital business as well as the strategic realignment of the WashTec brand into a holistic solution provider,” explains Sabine Zimmerer, Head of Global Marketing at WashTec Cleaning Technology GmbH. "The trade fair came at exactly the right time for us. This meant we were able to present our innovations not only online, but also in direct communication with our customers. The interest was enormous and the discussions were consistently positive."
Sensors and automation
Thanks to innovative sensors, the system detects vehicle size and shape in real time and automatically adjusts the washing programs. Operators benefit from an intuitive user interface that allows individual programs, washing speeds and overflows to be configured quickly and easily. In addition, SmartCare Connect opens the door to digital sales channels and services such as the digital marketplace WashNow, the carwash app EasyCarWash Pro or the remote service CarWash Assist.
