In Lower Austria, the first assessments were carried out using an app in cooperation with the Steinberger expert office and selected car dealership partners. The video assessment offers the expert the opportunity to view damage online. For this purpose, a live video is created by the workshop master, who is connected to the expert via headset. The expert uses this video to take photos, which form the basis for the following report. Communication between the workshop and the expert takes place exclusively online.

MAZDA MAYER The new video assessment was also used several times at Mazda Mayer in St. Pölten, a long-standing partner of Garanta. Managing director Franz Mayer is satisfied: "For us, the big advantage is the flexibility, you no longer have to wait for an expert and we can start work without wasting time. Because the faster the customer gets his vehicle back, the better it is for the customer, the workshop and the insurance company. For me, this is a development in the right direction." The video assessment therefore brings advantages for everyone involved. “What we are particularly pleased about is that the quality of the communication flow during the video assessment is just as good as in the case of an on-site inspection,” adds Mag. Stefan Enthofer, head of the Garanta Performance Center.
