Mix faster with Axalta
The developers' goal was to increase the profitability of the painting process while reducing the environmental impact. Troy Weaver, senior vice president of Global Refinish, said, "At the time we launched our digital, end-to-end color management, now called Axalta Irus, we knew what the future held for the industry - fully automated color mixing. Today we are introducing that technology." Axalta Irus Mix thus completes Axalta Irus' three-step digital color management process: Scan - Find - Mix. According to the manufacturer's own information, Axalta Irus Mix, with its patented technology, is the fastest fully automatic mixing system on the market. Axalta's testing showed that refinish customers can achieve over 60 percent reduction in labor time with Axalta Irus Mix compared to a manual dispensing process.
Axalta Irus Mix is very easy to use and does not need to be operated by a trained painter. The process allows painters to complete other tasks while the paint is mixed. Axalta Irus Mix is used with Axalta's proven bottle system. It is therefore not necessary to refill or refill the products into special bottles. In addition, the bottles are equipped with precise dispensing caps, achieving accurate color accuracy without material waste. Axalta's bottle system is made from 50 percent recycled plastic and underlines the company's commitment to greater sustainability. Its premium basecoats – Cromax Pro, Spies Hecker Permahyd Hi-TEC and Standox Standoblue – are available exclusively with Axalta Irus Mix in these bottles. Axalta Irus Mix will be launched across Europe from June 2023 and will soon be launched worldwide.
