To mark its 100th anniversary, paint gun specialist Sata from Kornwestheim, Germany, is presenting a special edition of its jet X model.

Sata celebrates 100 years of spray guns
A hundred years ago it all started with a chance encounter. In 1925, two businessmen met while traveling by train - one from Sanitaria AG, the other from the Lechler paint factory. The latter was looking for suitable tools to process his new sprayable paints. Sanitaria was able to help with its know-how in the atomization of liquid materials, and so the company's first paint gun was created. This fateful encounter is now celebrating its hundredth anniversary. To mark this occasion, Sata is presenting the “jet X 100 Years Edition” model – a special edition of its current top model. The anniversary paint gun bears the original design drawing of “No. 1”, the first paint gun from 1925. It will be available from specialist retailers from September 15th this year – while stocks last.
