At the Kfz-Pletz master workshop in Zeltweg, work is in full swing. The new paint center is scheduled to open this summer. CEO Werner Pletz trusts PPG when it comes to paint.

Since 2012, Werner Pletz has been managing the fortunes of his master car company Pletz in Zeltweg. The model company, which attaches great importance to optimal customer service, carries out all repair work, has a §57a testing center and, for a month now, has also had an Allianz approval office, which, on the one hand, is a good source of frequency and also enables registrations across Styria. Apart from that, the company is also competent when it comes to used cars and sells around 300 units a year. The trained automotive technician and committed entrepreneur is visibly proud of his young team. 13 employees are committed to ensuring that customers always feel excellent care. The boss attaches great importance to a pleasant working atmosphere: “It is important to me that my employees enjoy their work,” says Pletz. Thorough apprentice training is essential, explains Pletz, who is currently training five apprentices. Personal contact with the customer is by far the most important thing, says CEO Werner Pletz in an interview with KFZ Wirtschaft.
COOPERATION WITH PPG
Personal contact is also important to Pletz with his partners. When it comes to paint, the company is run by Martin Toih, PPG sales consultant. The master painter has been with PPG for eight years and has been the contact for Kfz-Pletz for three years. "In addition to product quality, personal contact is particularly important to me. With Martin Toih this works brilliantly," says Pletz.

In addition to direct customer contact, PPG also relies on in-depth training courses that take place regularly in Salzburg. Toih is enthusiastic about the large expansion; work on the paint center, which is scheduled to open in the summer, is in full swing. The USI Italia paint booth is already in the 1400 m2 hall. And what makes Toih happy: CEO Werner Pletz swears by Daisy Wheel. Daisy Wheel from Fillon Technologies is a fully automatic mixing system specifically designed for modern, water-thinnable automotive refinishes. The system contains all the mixing paints of a car refinish system, so that every vehicle color can be mixed fully automatically.
OPERATING CLIMATE
The excellent working atmosphere is immediately noticeable to visitors. There's a young team working there that lives their job wholeheartedly and is passionate about it.
