Lack & Technik organizes Cromax Five Star meetings

As the Austrian importer of Cromax and as a Five Star network operator, Lack & Technik invited people to Linz and, as in previous years, offered an exciting program - this time in the truest sense of the word. As part of this year's conference, the Linz paint specialist under the management of Rudolf Weismann organized training on working on hybrid and electric vehicles in accordance with OVE guideline R19:2015. There is no question that when carrying out body work on such vehicles, special attention must be paid to live parts, as an electric shock from the high-voltage system can pose a risk to life.
TRAINING ON E-VEHICLES
With Alois Ganglberger, a long-time expert in the fields of vehicle electrics, electric and hybrid drives as well as high-voltage technology, we were able to recruit him as a training manager. At the end of the training as part of the network conference, the participants were presented with a certificate certifying that they had achieved training level HV-1 according to the OVE guideline R19-2015. This certificate is the prerequisite for simple work on electric and hybrid vehicles and also serves as the basis for further training on high-voltage systems. “Five Star companies always use the most modern, state-of-the-art equipment, employ highly trained employees and master all modern repair methods for all types of vehicles,” emphasized Rudolf Weismann at the network meeting. In this way, the partner companies manage to meet the high demands of fleet, leasing, insurance and also private customers.

TIPS, TRENDS AND GOSSIS
In addition to the interesting lectures and demonstrations, “networking” was the focus of the Five Star conference. The plumbers and painters present took the opportunity to exchange tips, trends and gossip. During the coffee breaks, contacts were deepened in order to benefit from the experiences and knowledge of other workshops. In order to network the Five Star companies with small and medium-sized fleet operators in the respective region, the plenary session discussed the possibilities of direct marketing, online advertising, print advertising and other sales promotion options.
