Janiba trusts Akzo Nobel

The success story of the Janiba company – competent when it comes to bodywork and paintwork – is a unique one. It all started exactly 20 years ago. Then Karl Janiba - together with his wife Edeltraud - took the courageous step into self-employment and founded the body and paint shop in Obertrum. Karl Janiba started his career in sales, then trained as a car painter and completed it with a journeyman's certificate as a painter. At the age of 24 he already passed his master's examination. After seven years at Akzo Nobel, where he worked as an application engineer for Sikkens car paints, Janiba managed the paint shop at a Salzburg car dealership for four years. In 1997, the starting signal for our own specialist company was finally given. Together with his wife Edeltraud, who was responsible for organization, customer service, accounting and advertising from the start, Janiba literally worked around the clock in the initial phase. At the beginning, the clientele consisted almost exclusively of car dealers for whom painting work was carried out. Today, in addition to the collaboration with renowned brand companies, the large number of private customers in particular represents a healthy business basis.
OPTIMAL CUSTOMER CARE
Karl Janiba is rightly proud of the low staff turnover: “The employees from the very beginning are still on board today.” Apprentices who were trained in the company are still there. The body and paint shop Janiba now has twelve employees. The focus of Edeltraud and Karl Janiba is entirely on optimal customer service: “The positive is self-evident, the customer never forgets the negative,” Karl Janiba is convinced. It is therefore important to fully understand the customer and his concerns and to be fully committed to ensuring that he is satisfied.
COOPERATION WITH AKZO NOBEL
When it comes to paint, Janiba relies on Akzo Nobel. The Janibas are looked after by Markus Hubinger. The company has been “Acoat Selected Intense” certified since spring. The quality standard for accident repair specialists initiated by Akzo Nobel is of great importance to the boss: “This certification is a real honor, especially with regard to cooperation with leasing companies, car dealership chains and insurance companies,” explains Karl Janiba. “Acoat Selected Intense aims to align and prepare certified companies precisely for today’s and, above all, future market requirements,” explains Daniel Kapeller, Sales Manager at Akzo Nobel. For business customers, the company presents itself as a reliable, well-equipped partner with excellent personnel and technology, capable of repairing accident damage quickly and professionally, in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer's specifications and quality guidelines. For private customers, the certification means that they have the certainty that the company works with demanding clients and car manufacturers and is therefore constantly confronted with a large number of vehicles and is optimally prepared to repair any type of accident damage.
