The AkzoNobel Training Program 2022

"The enormous cost pressure that companies are under is not letting up. At the same time, the tasks are becoming more and more complex and the demands in terms of work quality and safety are increasing. Balancing this can become a real balancing act against the background of the increasing shortage of skilled workers," says Daniel Kapeller, Sales Manager AkzoNobel VR Austria. In the new seminar program, already established training courses were adapted in favor of economical and high-quality work results and supplemented with new content.

New filler technologies that AkzoNobel has included in the program lead to quick and good results and whose application can be learned in seminars on surface preparation. Important information about the material mix of the vehicles or current repair methods for carbon is also included, as is the impact of electronic safety systems on refinishing. Another important component of the technical training is the Paint PerformAir (PPA). Course participants should be able to use the new application device under guidance and thus get an idea of the time savings, process reliability and the material and resource-saving effects.

The training courses on professional vehicle disinfection with OC100 from AkzoNobel are about greater safety for employees and customers. The disinfectant aims to ensure comprehensive hygiene protection in the vehicle as well as effective odor removal. The three-stage high-voltage seminars also keep an eye on employee safety and provide information about innovations in dealing with high-voltage systems and the proper repair of electric vehicles.

Online seminars or individual in-house training round off the offer. In this way, AkzoNobel is reacting to current trends in K&L companies: “Against the background of the ever-thinning workforce and the increasing shortage of skilled workers, we want to offer companies the opportunity to organize their employee training in a timely and cost-effective manner or to tailor it individually to the current level of knowledge of their team,” explains Daniel Kapeller. Technical trainer and training manager Manuel Winkler has been new on board at the Elixhausen training center since October 2021. He is convinced of the structure and concept of the training program, as it "covers every level of performance from trainees to masters. The participants benefit from practical training that takes place with a reduced number of participants and in compliance with applicable safety and hygiene standards."
