ColorMotion: The club of color experts
ColorMotion is the name of the club where Glasurit users exchange their experiences and receive valuable tips from experts. Painting entrepreneur Andreas Lichtenwörther was the first club member in Austria and remains loyal to the brand to this day.

ColorMotion: The club of color experts
Glasurit's ColorMotion initiative was launched three years ago. Today, the painting experts club already has around 30 members throughout Austria. “ColorMotion is Glasurit’s initiative for mutual success,” explains Peter Graser, who is Glasurit’s sales consultant and is responsible for eastern Austria. “We organize around three to four seminars and training courses per year and just as many regular meetings where club members meet to exchange experiences.” As part of the ColorMotion training courses, industry experts prepare the topics of business administration, marketing & image, human resources management, infrastructure and sustainability specifically for the needs of painting companies. “This is an interesting and comprehensive offer that you could never get so cheaply otherwise,” says Andreas Lichtenwörther, who runs a body and paint center in Ebenfurth, Lower Austria, and was the first to benefit from the benefits of ColorMotion Club membership.
Valuable expert tips
The young entrepreneur, who started out as a “one-man show” ten years ago, opened his own business six years ago and now already employs four journeymen and an apprentice, has so far benefited primarily from the tips of ColorMotion marketing experts. “Over time, it’s easy to become operationally blind and rely on the wrong advertising strategies,” says Lichtenwörther. “The training gave me new ideas that are now actually starting to bear fruit.” The painting entrepreneur now avoids leaflets or advertisements in local media. Instead, for example, he gives the Ebenfurth volunteer fire department new, high-quality T-shirts with his company's logo printed on them. “My involvement in various clubs and sports organizations gives me and my company the highest level of recognition in the catchment area,” reveals Andreas Lichtenwörther. This also includes the fact that he will be organizing a fundraising campaign for the disability organization “Paths to Living” as part of his company's ten-year anniversary celebration this year.
Rapid progress
At the regulars' table meetings, the ColorMotion club members pass on their experiences with new processes, products and their applications to one another - a valuable exchange of experiences in view of the rapid development of paint chemistry and the virtually exploding variety of new colors. “Glasurit, for example, offers a base filler with integrated rust protection that saves one step,” explains sales consultant Peter Graser. “Glasurit 285-270 Primer Filler Pro can be applied directly to metal and creates an easy-to-sand base for high-quality refinishing.” As an entrepreneur, Andreas Lichtenwörther naturally welcomes the technical progress in paint technology, as it simplifies many work steps and ensures greater efficiency in his business. “That’s also the reason why I’m a member of the ColorMotion Club, because as an entrepreneur I can’t miss a trend.”
