Build without worries
Jürgen Handler became self-employed and built a completely new company from scratch. The motivated Styrian used the Kastner company's experience to be able to put his new paint booth into operation without delay.

Build without worries

Jürgen Handler's car business in the East Industrial Park in Greinbach is so new that not even modern navigation systems can find it. To be honest, the East Business Park currently only consists of its operations and a construction site. The driveway and yard are still roughly gravel; asphalt will only be paved in the coming weeks. The workshop with a paint shop and plumbing shop was opened in mid-July. Jürgen Handler, 33, welcomes us in a friendly manner. After a few minutes of chatting, it becomes clear that the trained painter doesn't say a word too much; he prefers short sentences and clear answers. Then why take the step into self-employment? “It started in 2011 with a small used car dealership,” says Handler. However, he soon realized that the warranty conditions made repairs to his used cars too expensive.
So the business-minded painter decided to open his own business. Two mechanics work in the large hall, while the handler himself lends a hand with the painting and plumbing work. What is the workload like? "100 percent. Almost from day one. We're doing well, we're currently looking for a good electronics specialist."
Word of mouth
Construction began on the new company premises last September. He met Rudolf Flatischler from the Kastner company through word of mouth. After all, the workshop still had to be set up - so this contact came in handy. Once the chemistry between the two was right, most of the workshop equipment was organized at Kastner. What were the motivations? "I asked around to colleagues. Everyone told me that the quality and service at Kastner were right. That was important to me because I only want to invest once," says Handler. The Blowtherm paint booth, a lifting platform, air conditioning units and other small items were quickly ordered. Kastner actively supported the submission for the paint booth.
"The submission phase took us around three months. Without professional help, it wouldn't have worked so smoothly," said a relieved Handler. Flatischler adds: "In such projects, we provide support right from the planning phase, discuss details with the architect and prepare all documents professionally so that there are no unnecessary delays during official acceptance. Our many years of experience are an advantage here." Handler nods in agreement. Since everything corresponded exactly to the specifications, there were no significant complaints and the paint booth was put into operation on time for the opening.
