With its premium paint brand Glasurit, BASF continues to be the exclusive global industry partner of WorldSkills International in the automotive refinishing category. "We are proud to continue to support the young talent participating in WorldSkills in developing their skills and also attracting new talent to the exciting automotive refinish industry. Global stage

Following its successful launch at WorldSkills Lyon 2024, Glasurit will continue to use its Series 100 water-based basecoat system, which features excellent benchmark results in terms of process time, consumption and sustainability. In addition, participants will learn how to integrate the Refinity digital platform for color, training and business solutions into their everyday work. The world's largest professional competition, WorldSkills Shanghai, will take place from September 22nd to 27th, 2026. “BASF Coatings offers our young talent access to the best resources, tools and solutions in the industry to ensure they can shine on the global stage,” said David Hoey, CEO WorldSkills International.
