The AUTOHAUS BAMMINGER in Sattledt is considered a rally car manufacturer and classic car specialist. When it comes to paintwork, they rely on the highest quality and have therefore invested decently. A local inspection.

Directly after the Sattledt motorway exit you end up at the Bamminger car dealership. The Nissan, Subaru and Suzuki dealer has the yard full of cars. Despite this, or perhaps precisely because of this, Harald and Mario Bamminger invested in a new, state-of-the-art paint booth. The Blowtherm system is larger and wider than usual; in the future, more commercial vehicles will be painted. The reason: new customers, new business. The car dealership also takes on painting work from companies in the area. “Our master painter Roland Straßmayr worked extremely hard to create the best possible working environment for himself and his colleagues,” says Mario Bamminger. The cabin was ordered from Kastner in May 2017. The old cabin was dismantled in July. Shortly afterwards, the completely new foundation was poured and the aggregate room next to it was enlarged. Around five months after the order was placed, the high-tech cabin went into operation in September 2017. Thanks to heat recovery and four powerful engines, the cabin is around a third more efficient than before. The highlights of the cabin can only be seen at second glance. On the one hand, there are corner lights so that the painter can immediately see whether orange peel is forming during spraying. And on the other hand, the large touchscreen, which can be used to conveniently control the entire cabin.
FUTURE INVESTMENT
"For us it was a major investment that was made consciously and sustainably for the next 20 years. We want to use it to maintain and improve our high paint quality," says Mario Bamminger. Christian Weidinger, Kastner field sales representative, has accompanied the project from the beginning and is happy to have such a loyal customer: "I taught in the company. I am all the more pleased that, in addition to the new high-tech paint booth, many other platforms and wheel alignment devices from Kastner are also used in the company."
