The overall pie is not getting any bigger. On the contrary, the market is known to be declining. That's why it's about doing more with fewer resources for the vehicle repair shop. In short: to work efficiently. In an interview with KFZ Wirtschaft, Mautner CEO Gerhard Sattler explains the company philosophy, which is defined in four different colored circles: "The blue circle stands for branded products, in our case that is Sikkens as the core brand and now also Dynacoat, both brands from Akzo Nobel. The green circle stands for know-how, i.e. transferring knowledge to the customer. Yellow stands for optimal service with the maxim of being completely with the customer, and the red circle symbolizes an experience in colors, In other words: experience with customers, action.” In addition to the excellent product quality, technical support is important to Sattler. He has been looked after by Günter Schellander for over ten years. He describes the decades-long cooperation with Akzo Nobel as characterized by great trust and handshake quality. Son Marcel Sattler has been responsible for marketing at Mautner for three years and also designs the extremely elaborate “Car Paint + Accessories” catalog that appears every year. The Mautner company is primarily active in the automotive paint (30%), decoration (40%) and industrial (30%) segments. CEO Gerhard Sattler wants to continue to grow in all areas.
